Services We Provide

Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy

Our experienced therapists and staff can help you attain your personal rehabilitation goals, regardless of your condition. We offer physical, occupational and speech therapy for a variety of conditions, including:

We offer a wide variety of specialty programs:

Aquatic Therapy

The aquatic therapy program takes place in a heated therapy pool. Aquatic therapy reduces joint stress, provides muscle resistance and ease of movement in a relatively low—or no—impact environment. This allows you to rapidly improve your gait, mobility, strength and function during the healing process.

Lymphedema Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT)

Riverview Health Outpatient Rehabilitation has a total of five certified lymphedema therapists working in outpatient therapy. Both occupational and physical therapy can treat patients with fluid accumulation and/or chronic swelling disorders with this specialized certification.

Craniosacral Therapy (CST)

CST is a non-invasive, hands-on therapy using light touch. This therapy monitors very subtle changes to a patient’s tissues and helps facilitate the body’s natural healing processes. After a trauma, oftentimes a patient’s nervous system can be on high alert. CST can help induce the parasympathetic portions of this nervous system, which allows the entire body to enter a state of restoration.

Dry Needling

Dry needling consists of penetrating the skin with a thin needle, which stimulates myofascial trigger points in the body to promote healing. Dry needling can be used to treat movement impairments, reduce muscle pain and tension, reduce headaches, joint pain and more.

Vestibular Rehabilitation

The vestibular system is a part of the inner ear that helps to control balance. Problems with this system can result in falls or disorientation. Our program addresses many balance and dizziness disorders, including benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), neuro diagnoses (Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis, stroke) and age-related dizziness and imbalance.
