Life saver heart scan

Computed Tomography (CT) Heart Scan - $49

This screening is performed using a CT scanner to determine the amount of hardened plaque inside your coronary arteries. Plaque build-up inside your coronary arteries can lead to a heart attack if the flow of oxygen-rich blood to your heart is reduced or blocked.

To be eligible, men must be older than 35, and women must be older than 40. You must weigh 345 lbs or less. Patients must have a primary care physician to whom the heart scan results can be sent. Patients must disclose if they are under the care of a cardiologist. This test is not recommended for patients with stents or previous heart surgery. We do not bill medical insurances for specially priced heart scans.

colonoscopy screening

Colonoscopy

Colorectal cancer is the second most common cause of cancer death in the US, yet it is one of the most preventable. It is highly treatable and is often curable when caught early. At Riverview Health, our team of highly skilled experts are trained in evaluating growths (polyps) and bleeding in the colon. A colonoscopy is a medical procedure that examines the inside of the large intestine. During this procedure, a flexible, lighted tube equipped with a tiny camera is gently inserted into the rectum. This allows the doctor to visualize the entire colon, identify and remove any abnormal growths called polyps, which can potentially develop into cancer.

To schedule a colonoscopy, please call 317.214.5468, dial option 2 or fill out the form to have one of our scheduling coordinators contact you.

Lung Cancer Screening with Low-dose CT

Healthcare Provider's Order Required

A low-dose CT scan is a quick, non-invasive exam that helps detect lung cancer in its earliest stages—often before symptoms appear. The screening takes just a few minutes and doesn’t involve medications or needles. Results are interpreted by board-certified radiologists and sent directly to your physician.

Lung cancer screening is generally recommended for adults ages 50–77 who currently smoke or quit within the last 15 years and have a 20 pack-year smoking history (e.g., one pack a day for 20 years). If you're unsure whether you qualify, ask your provider. To schedule a screening, contact your healthcare provider for an order. Your insurance will be billed.
