About MyChart
Whether you’re at work, on the road or at home, MyChart gives you online access to your medical information so you can:
- Schedule primary care appointments. Manage your appointments by viewing your upcoming and past appointments.
- Send your doctor confidential messages. Communicate with your healthcare provider and upload images of your visual symptoms without having to go into the office.
- Access your test results. View your results and your doctor’s comments.
- Pay bills online. Access and pay your bills from home.
- Request prescription refills. Send a refill request for any of your refillable medications.
- View and print immunization records.
Please note that MyChart should never be used in emergent situations. If you have an emergency, please call 911.

Everyday Ways Patients Use MyChart
MyChart is more than a login page — it's the hub for managing your care between visits. Instead of waiting on hold to book a primary care appointment, you can pick a time that fits your calendar and see every upcoming and past visit in one place. When a new symptom appears, a confidential message to your doctor — with a photo of a visible symptom attached, if helpful — can often save you a trip to the office. Test results arrive in your account along with your doctor's comments, so you're never left guessing what a number means. And the practical tasks of being a patient get easier too: paying a bill from your couch, sending a refill request for a medication you already take, or printing immunization records when school or work asks for them.
Getting Set Up
New users need an access code, which any Riverview Health physician's office can provide. Riverview Health recently moved to the new Epic electronic health records system, and dedicated support is available while patients transition: call 1.855.222.3648 for help setting up your account, or 1.855.364.7936 with general MyChart questions.
Where MyChart Fits in Your Care
Your MyChart account is also the doorway to telehealth — video appointments with your provider happen through it. See the requirements on our virtual health visits page. Remember that the portal is for routine, non-urgent needs; in an emergency, always call 911. For every other way to book care, from same-day visits to specialty appointments, start at our schedule an appointment page.
